Animals hold a special place in my heart, and I’ve always welcomed pets to join their owners during our sessions. Whether it’s capturing candid moments with children or pets, I’m more than happy to get down on the ground, no matter where or when. I’m known for embracing unique opportunities, whether it’s snapping a picture with a chicken or immortalizing your horse or pig as the adorable flower girl on your wedding day.
Why Pet Mini Sessions?
Once upon a time, I aspired to be a veterinarian, but the lengthy schooling and costs led me to pursue Veterinary Technology at Community College. While working at a vet clinic, I realized my true passion lay elsewhere, leading me to pursue an associate’s degree in fine art. Despite the emotional challenges of working with animals, it’s never stopped me from bringing home the fur babies, even the ones who are headed for the rainbow bridge. Over the years, I’ve welcomed numerous fur babies into my home, including 5 cats, half a dozen kittens, 8 dogs, 25 chickens, 3 guinea pigs, an axolotl, 2 goats, 10 pigs and a snake. Animals have always been an integral part of my life, and that’s something I’ll never regret.
Recognizing the profound bond between pets and their owners, We’re launching annual pets + their people minis, allowing you to cherish these moments forever in photos. With 25% of the proceeds benefiting local animal shelters and rescues, it’s a heartwarming opportunity to give back to the furry friends who enrich our lives.
The Pet Mini Session Details
Join us on Friday, October 18th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Brix on Main for our Pet Mini Sessions. Appointments are required, and the venue offers free parking and is ADA accessible. Whether you’re bringing a furry friend or a scaly companion, please let us know in advance.
Our Pet Mini Sessions are priced at $100 (including tax) and include a 15-minute session, along with 5 high-resolution images for personal use. You also have the option to upgrade to the full gallery for $125 (including tax), either before or after receiving your initial images.
To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, we kindly ask that all pets be brought on a leash or in a carrier. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to give your pet a potty break, and don’t forget to bring your pooper scoop baggies. Additionally, we’ll be implementing measures to avoid potential pet conflicts, such as guiding owners to wait at the front doors while the prior session is escorted out the side door.
If 15 minutes doesn’t feel like enough time for you and your pet, we also offer full sessions for $350+tax. As with our Pet Mini Sessions, 25% of the proceeds will be donated to support local animal shelters and rescues.
I’m thrilled to include your pets in our portrait or engagement sessions, but there’s something truly special about dedicating a mini session solely to capturing the unique bond between you and your furry friend. Bring along their favorite toy, treats, or anything that brings them joy, and together we’ll create cherished memories that you’ll treasure forever.
