Altimeter Cabin: Head Over Heels for Spring

In June, I was able to join forces with a few of my favorite models for this beautiful spring at Altimeter Cabin Wedding Shoot!

Just outside Mount Rainier National Park sits the charming Altimeter Cabin

I’d never been out to Altimeter Cabin before, but when Andrea contacted me and asked about planning a few styled shoots, I jumped at the opportunity to head out to Ashford. I’m always game for lending a hand to a new wedding vendor when they’re in need of a little website boost. So Emi and I headed out that morning to show the cabin a little love!

Rustic Charm outside MRNP

When we arrived, Andrea started by showing us around. Her property is beautiful and secluded; a true breath of fresh air when you’ve been cooped up or city bound for much too long. With the cabin, pavilion and spots for tent camping, you can easily host an intimate gathering for your special day, and extend the party into more than just one day. I could easily see a group of your closest family and friends roasting marshmallows on Friday, then having a delicious camp breakfast Saturday morning (biscuits and gravy anyone?) before everyone disperses to get ready for your ceremony!

After you tie the knot surrounded by the beautiful 200ish foot trees, cozy up in the boho swing while your guests enjoy hot cocoa by the fireside or their favorite libation. If you’re feeling adventurous, head out to Mount Rainier National Park for beautiful views and your romantic portraits. Longmire is only about 20 minutes from the cabin, and Paradise is another 10 minutes beyond that.

When you arrive back to join the party, I imagine the Mountain Pavilion table will be stacked with delicious eats. You’ll dance under the stars, enjoy cake and smores by the fire side before you head off into the rustic charm of your honeymoon suite: Altimeter Cabin itself.

Altimeter Cabin Interior

Altimeter Cabin boasts beautiful open beams, a sleeping loft and provides a comfy space for your wedding night. While it sleeps six, you’ll want to boot any other guests, draw the blinds and bask in the romance of the day. The mini kitchen offers a spot to cook up a late night snack or an early breakfast for just the two of you on Sunday Morning.

Whether you’re eloping with just the two of you, or you want an intimate gathering with 16 of your favorite people, Altimeter Cabin is a dream spot just outside of Mount Rainier National Park where your wedding can blend with nature.
